Gemotions

A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the old oak tree, creating a soft, whispering sound. Sarah lay in a hammock strung between its branches, a book of fairy tales resting on her chest. She had spent the morning tending to her garden, and the afternoon sunshine made her feel content.

She flipped through the pages, the stories transporting her to fantastical realms. A folded piece of parchment slipped from between the pages. It looked old, almost fragile. She held it, turning it over in her hands, and felt no urgency to immediately unfold it.
